Cookies
Cookie policy.
Drafted under article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), the GDPR and the Spanish Data Protection Agency's Guide on the use of cookies (latest update of 2024).
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small piece of information that a website saves on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit it. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to remember preferences, and to obtain anonymous statistics about how the website is used. Some technologies — such as the browser's localStorage or pixels — are also covered by article 22.2 of LSSI-CE; in this policy we use "cookie" as a general term covering all of them.
2. Cookies used on this website
We only use two categories of cookies: strictly necessary cookies (which do not require consent) and analytics cookies provided by Google Analytics 4 (which require your prior consent). We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural-tracking cookies or social-media plug-in cookies.
| Name | Ownership | Category | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
ef_consent | First-party | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie preferences (accepted, refused or per-category) so the banner does not show on every visit. | 6 months | localStorage |
_ga | Third-party (Google) | Analytics | Google Analytics 4 — distinguishes unique users by assigning a randomly generated identifier. | 13 months | Cookie |
_ga_<container> | Third-party (Google) | Analytics | Google Analytics 4 — keeps the session state of your visit. | 13 months | Cookie |
3. Lawful basis
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent (article 22.2 LSSI-CE, exception of "strictly necessary technical cookies").
Analytics cookies are installed only after your express consent given through the cookie banner (article 22.2 LSSI-CE and article 6.1.a GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time from the "Cookie settings" link below or from the small badge in the corner of any page.
4. International data transfers and recipients
The analytics cookies are managed by Google Ireland Limited. Some of the data may be hosted in the United States by Google LLC, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Adequacy Decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023). For more details see the privacy policy.
5. How to manage cookies
From this website: use the "Cookie settings" link below — you can accept, refuse or change your preferences at any time. Your decision is saved for 6 months; after that period the banner is shown again.
From your browser: every modern browser lets you delete or block cookies. Some shortcuts:
Note that, if you completely block strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the website may not work as expected.
6. Updates
Each substantial change to the cookies used will be reflected in this policy and the cookie banner will be shown again so you can give a fresh consent.
