The night of the storm.

Danni and Leire are about to shoot their first major music video when a freak hurricane hits, forcing them and their crew to seek shelter in a recording studio in Bilbao La Vieja (Bilbi) after a sudden power outage. As the storm rages, they realise it is more than a natural disaster — it serves as a gateway for an ancient demonic entity that preys on the souls of talented young artists, and Danni is its primary target.

The demon begins manipulating the crew, drawing them into a secret cult and turning them against Danni in a plan to sacrifice her. At the same time, Danni uncovers a terrifying truth: her co-star and best friend, Leire, isn't real. She is merely her manufactured stage persona, conjured by her fractured mind. As time runs out, Danni must fight to escape both the demon's grip and Leire's growing attempts to take over her mind.

A record label pairs them, forming the perfect pop duo destined for stardom. But in the music industry, an ancient, demonic entity demands your soul in exchange for fame and fortune.

Haunted by demonic visions in the music industry, her mental health declines. Passionate about classic indie rock, she feels so out of place in the manufactured pop scene. To try and fit in, she creates Leire, her confident alter ego.

Leire is Danni's alter ego, embodying the darker side of her psyche.

Unlike Danni, she cares nothing for music and sees it only as a path to fame. Intoxicating and manipulative, Leire uses people as stepping stones. It's unclear if she genuinely cares for Danni or just exploits her talent. Fearing obscurity, she'll stop at nothing to achieve fame.

An ancient entity.

An ancient entity that feeds on human souls, with a preference for the creatively gifted, living for centuries within the arts. It has no physical power in our dimension, existing as a specter that observes its victims from shadows, under staircases, dark corners, or ajar closet doors, always staring.

Sneaky and manipulative, it infiltrates minds, seeding desires, paranoia, and resentment to control the film crew and manipulate Danni. Acting as a supernatural puppeteer, it exploits the darkest human traits.

Gaunt and rickety, it lurks in shadows. Only vague impressions of its inhuman form are visible, with a pale face piercing the darkness, often smiling — a disturbing, iconic visage.

Bilbao is not just a backdrop for Devil's Pact — it's a living, breathing character. Its distinct fusion of deep-rooted history and fearless contemporary creativity mirrors the film's central clash between ancient myth and modern talent.
